Sir Bartholomew Alexander Kensington III

Landed Gentleman Explorer

Bartholomew inherited a good deal of money from a well respected name in the British gentry. However, he had an adventurous streak and insisted on wasting his family fortune and good name on adventuring across the empire, exploring and treasure hunting.

The family reputation waned a bit due to his wild nature but he did earn a knighthood from it.

After a misadventure caused a nagging leg injury, Bart is semi-retired from the adventuring life and seeing to affairs at home. When his niece asked him to help continue the Holmes tradition in the great detectives absence he saw a chance for a bit of excitement and agreed to help her.
